Defining Smart Phone Basics
The term smart phone used to be exclusive to mobile phones that had Pocket Pc functionalities, particularly when it comes to the creation of text documents and spreadsheets and later on, e-mails. Now, thanks to the advancements in technology, there are assorted basics that one can now expect from roughly any smart phone. The first is the proximity of connectivity technology. There are assorted ways to implement this in a mobile phone, but the most generally used one these days is wireless Lan, best known as Wi-Fi. Second to this Hsdpa technology is the second most coarse connectivity feature found in smart phones; Hsdpa is more acceptable than basic 3G thanks to its high speed capabilities; the Galaxy Lite, has all of these as well as Gprs.
Get Connected
Conectivity alone does not make a smart phone; there are other leading features too. Lately, one such feature is having an operating system. The Samsung i5700 Galaxy Lite has the great fortune of running on the Google Android operating system. This version 1.5 of the Google Android is nicknamed Cupcake and is the latest incarnation of a widely loved operating system. The intuit why an Android operating law is renowned more than any other is because Google fully supports their mobile software. There are mobile variants of major Google applications such as G-mail, G-Talk, Google Maps and even YouTube.
How Light is Lite?
Just because this new Galaxy is named Lite, it does not mean that this gadget is a watered down version of the original. The only true inequity also the external appearances of the two Galaxies is that the customary i7500 has a 5 mega pixel camera and 8Gb of internal memory while the Lite has a 3.2 mega pixel camera and only 1Gb of internal storage.
The change of camera resolution quality is understandable and not that big of a deal. The change in the quality of images that can be captured is insignificant in most cases. What will be noticed is the discount of memory capacity. These days, 1Gb of warehouse is pretty small, especially with devices that can play and store large media such as videos.
Fortunately you still have the choice of using an Sd to supplement the lack of storage. All in all, getting the Galaxy Lite can be a surely good idea if you want to get a good taste of the Android; but if you can afford it, we fully propose the customary i7500.

Every year different products are launched and a race is run among them to hold the estimate 1 crown. Well, this time we are talking about the best anti-virus software products of the year 2011. Who is going to take the lead? Read on to know more. Antivirus vendors usually have to face tough competition in their commercial full protection suites. Their free antivirus versions have comparatively been less competing due to the unavailability of full antivirus features that give high-value protection; unavailability of lab test results; and lack of customers' awareness and acceptance towards them.
Ipad
However, this competition for sometimes has seemed to be mounting up not because the fellowships have started giving full protection features in their free antivirus products but for the think that these have been improved a lot on protection aspects. Free antivirus versions usually have an option to buy or upgrade to the full protection suite by paying the price. These are commonly advanced for personal/home users who are unwilling to pay or can't afford to pay high prices. Free versions all the time are light on protection resources due to the inclusion of fewer features compared to the full protection suites. Therefore, users only have entrance to the essentials but not the added features as they have lesser estimate of data to be protected than the businesses.
We all very well know that antivirus software is a must-have (at least in the high-technology time we are living in) to keep our Pcs clean and protected from all the malicious viruses, Trojans, spyware, adware, or worms etc. Anything you may pick to call them.
Getting back to the race of best antivirus software 2011, we have a list of free antivirus software products that have gained top rankings in roughly all the websites' surveys. An curious thing to tell you is that roughly every antivirus vendor has begun to add '2011' in the names of their products since the early 2010. See some of the examples; Avg Anti-Virus Free 2011, Norton AntiVirus 2011, McAfee AntiVirus Plus 2011, Panda Antivirus Pro 2011, and BitDefender Antivirus Pro 2011 among others.
This indicates towards a fact that antivirus vendors had their products focused on the year 2011. A good antivirus is supposed to protect a Pc from all the malicious threats together with viruses, scareware, Trojans, rootkits, and keyloggers etc. There have been a estimate of technology trends in free antivirus versions that stand them apart from each other in more or less the same way. See what they include:

Next in the line is TrustPort Antivirus 2011 that features 2 Av engines for double-layer protection. However, it runs minute slower than G Data AntiVirus 2011.

Ad-Aware Pro 2011 is designed to catch the interest of both types of users with an option of advanced and simple mode. There is BitDefender Antivirus Pro 2011 also that exceeds users' expectations by together with 3 modes namely basic, intermediate, and advanced. The users can also archive their most used tools in a personal archival.
The improved interface of Avg antivirus Free Edition 2011 allows easy interaction and automatic updation. The Av has Smart Scanning highlight that prioritizes scans to optimally apply power resources.

Once they do, they'll be able to listen to your live conversations, read your text messages, view photos on your phone, find out who called you and the calls you've placed, and also track your every move via Gps. This is not science fiction, it's real and can happen to whatever who is not careful. Samsung Galaxy

If you are 100% sure nobody has used your mobile, then the odds of your phone having spyware on it is slim. 2) Unusually High Bill? Have you recently started to see an growth in your cellular bills? Or possibly you've been shocked to suddenly see an unusually large bill? Spyphone software requires a data association (such as Gprs) to exchange the data that has been confidentially recorded. If you'e not the kind of someone who enjoys surfing the net on their phone, or often downloads ring tones, and games, then sudden changes in your bill, specically due to increased data usage, is a good sign that your cellphone could be infected.
3) Battery Drain? Have you been grabbing your cellphone's charger more than usual? Cell spy software runs continuously in the background, recording events such as incoming/outgoing text messages, call history, and Gps location. It then uploads the logs to a accumulate remote server so the someone who installed the spyware can access the logs and view all recorded. All of this takes a bit of juice to make happen, so if you suddenly see a drop in your battery life, then it could also be a sign you have cell phone spyware on your phone.

I'm sure you can remember several instances where you tried to shut down your computer, but ran into problems because an additional one schedule wouldn't respond. The same thing periodically occurs on devices that have cell spyware software installed.
5) Check Your Icons! Have you recently started to see strange new icons on your phone? Or does the Gprs indicator icon suddenly appear for no reason? Remember, cell phone spyware requires a data connection, and when this happens, most cell phones will briefly show an icon that indicates a association is occurring.
So what can you do if you think you have cell phone spyware on your phone? The only way to wholly take off the spy phone software, is to reinstall the operating system. This can be done at the place of purchase. Just take it in and tell them that you think someone has installed spyware on your phone, and then they'll toddle to reinstall the Os. There also free programs online that claim to detect and take off cell phone spyware, but the only way to be 100% sure, is to get your phone wiped, and then get a fresh install of the Os.
Once you are sure that your phone is spyware free, you can do uncomplicated things to ensure it stays that way. Make sure that you keep it close to you at all times, use a phone lock that requires a Pin number, and intimately monitor your cell phone for any unusual behavior.

Downloading music from your Pc's music variety is pretty easy. All you have to do is drag and drop songs from your Pc onto a memory card that's then installed in the phone. All the phones associate to Pc Usb cable. However only Sprint / Nextel and Amp'd phones appear as a lettered drive onto which you can drag and drop music files.
Samsung Galaxy
Not everything on your Pc will necessarily play on the phones. Sprint phones will play Mp3's and Aac's ( the default format for Apple's iTunes software and Music store) but not music purchased form other music market even Pc downloads from the Sprint service, oddly enough. With Amp'd you can play Mp3's and Wma's but not songs downloaded from online music stores. Amp'd Live does allow you to order songs, ringtones and other article from your Pc and have them automatically pushed to you phone.
Verizon is the most "Apple unfriendly". It's phones don't play Mp3's or Aac's the only formats used by iPod owners just Wma's. The only good news is that Verizon phones will play copy-protected Wma songs bought from other online market (which of procedure rules out Apple iTunes content). I hope this helps you in terms of what cell phone you have now or are contemplating on purchasing. Below is a place that I found to be helpfull in this process. Check it out.

Keeping your Android phone safe should be a key concern. You have tons of critical data that is stored on that. Not only do you not want your personal facts getting into the hands of the wrong person. You also do not want to spend money on replacing your phone. You then have to re-enter all of your data into this new phone which is a waste of time. I will show you the apps to keep your phone safe.
Lookout
Iphone
The watch app has tons of security features such as antivirus, a firewall, and intrustion prevention. The best part is that they are highly lightweight so they do not bog down your phone. watch out also helps you if your phone is lost or stolen. You can log into the web interface on any computer and track down your phone. You simply click the find button and it will show where your phone is on map. Lastly watch also comes with data backup. It will back up all of your personal data including contacts, photos, video, e-mail, and text messages.
Top 3 protection Apps For Your Android Phone
WaveSecure
WaveSecure is other great security app which is similar to Lookout. WaveSecure lets you lock down your phone from the web interface so that it becomes useless if you have lost your phone. You can also display a message and sound an alarm. Just like watch you are also able to track down your phone with WaveSecure. You can set an auto-backup or trigger a backup remotely from the website. The one big highlight that WaveSecure offers that watch does not is the wipe out feature. You are able to log into the web interface and remotely wipe all the data from your phone.
Protector
Protector is other great app but it's separate than the former 2 apps. Protector allows you to password safe any app on your phone, or any highlight of an app. It's a great security program that can be very useful for many users. Protector allows you to password safe any Android app. Sms, Gmail, e-mail, Settings, Photos, Calendar, Notepad, Chat...or whatever else you can even want to put a password on is an option.
You are even able to safe just singular features of apps if you need to. There is no workaround that will put your apps at danger. Even using a task manager won't forestall the apps from losing their protection. If you try to uninstall the Protector app, you need the pin code to do so!
The only complaint with this app is that there is no pin recovery. If you forget your pin you are totally screwed. That's a big gamble so just make sure you have it somewhere.
You can find other great apps for your android phone on the simply Droid Android Forums at http://www.simplydroid.com/forum
Stereo speakers are built to last. Every time you turn them on they are submitted to abuse and punishment, even more so depending on the type of music you listen to. For example, music with heavy bass shakes all in your home. fantasize what is going on in the speaker cone.
Samsung Galaxy
Even the best, capability stereo speakers are bound to crackle from all of this abuse over time. When that happens, you may have the opening to save yourself some money by repairing those broken speakers instead of buying new ones.
It all starts with finding the problem causing the sound problems. It can be an enclosure damaged or maybe it blew out from an electrical or thermal fuse. Problems with the voice coil are a common problem, sometimes the crossover network is faulty and even problems as easy as a solder relationship can be the cause of your problems. anything your speaker issue maybe, it can be fixed. Here is a breakdown of how you can repair a speaker that is blown out.
The first thing you need to do is shape out which speaker is giving you problems. You can beyond doubt do this by playing colse to with the stereo's equalizer. Alter the balance and the fader to detach the speaker causing the distortion in sound or if there is no sound at all. Be sure not to have the volume blasting or you run the risk of blowing out a good speaker.
Once you've figured out which speaker is the bad one, you now need to take it apart. Try to do this step determined because you don't want to cause further damage to a part which is working fine. take off the faceplate of the speaker and then gradually loosen the seams of the speaker's fabric without tearing it.
Now that the speaker cone is visible, you can begin repairing it. Have some tape or glue handy since this is what you will primarily be using if the cone of the speaker is punctured or torn. You'll want to make sure the hole or tear is completely covered before curious on to the next step.
Test the voice coil to see if it is damaged in any way such as if it melted at some point for example. If there is even the tiniest of gaps in the coil, no sound will flow from the speaker or it will sound very distorted, depending on the size. If you see that the voice coil is beyond doubt melted, then just replace the speaker entirely.
If you're going to need any change parts, now is the time to order them. They can whether be found directly from the manufacturer but they can be high-priced or from stereo specialties shops. An often overlooked fact is to know the part estimate or numbers of the pieces you are finding for. They are commonly located on the inside of the speaker or backside of the cone. Doing so will make your life an awful lot easier.
Now that you have all parts you need to properly fix the speaker, take a look at how the damaged part is attached to the speaker. Once you take off the broken piece, you are going to need to install the new one the same way.
Now that you are all completed putting the speaker back to together, the only thing left to do is test to see if all your hard work paid off. Hook it back up to the stereo and test it at a low volume gradually turning the volume up to see if it can handle. If the speaker is still not working and you feel like did all correctly, take it to a professional and let them fix it from there.

If you're reasoning of getting an iPad 2, you're probably going to want a little security for your new gadget. Apple's Smart Covers are probably one of the coolest accessories right now for the newly released iPad. It's innovative, it's stylish and it protects your iPad 2 screen from getting scratched. Unfortunately, these so called "smart" covers don't protect the iPad's aluminum back side, which is very prone to scratches. It also doesn't offer much in the mobility department, so I guess it categorically isn't that smart after all. While I was finding at some cases online for my iPad 2, I stumbled upon this nifty iPad accessory, the iTab Grip iPad grip case which offers security as well as other neat features. Let's take a closer look on this product.
The iTab Grip is a clear protective case made of polymer which encloses the back and the sides of the iPad. What sets this iPad case apart from other iPad grip cases is that it's integrated with a rotating gismo at the back which allows the user to securely achieve full mobility while using the tablet. So basically, this iPad case works in two ways. It works as a cover to protect your tablet from scratches and dirt and it also works as an extension of your hand. It has a ring-like attachment at the back where you can slip your finger to hold the tablet. Once it's attached to your finger, it provides you with a obtain hold which means you can move it around, swing it around, and even spin it around without the fear of dropping it. Well, I've tried it and my iPad is still in one piece. The iTab Grip is also made from polymer, not velcro, so it's more clean to use and you won't get itchy while using it. It also won't leave you those nasty velcro marks at the back of your hand.

What I also love about this iPad accessory is that you can use it alongside Apple's Smart Covers. That categorically sealed the deal for me. I get to have a stylish front cover and I also get a cool back cover and ring grip. The iTab Grip grip case also offers a clear protective cover for the front screen. If you don't want to use Apple's Smart Cover, your screen is still protected from scratches because of the screen protector.
iTab Grip iPad Grip Case tell
Price-wise, I think it's also a good buy. Some grip cases costs up to more than 0 so I think the iTab Grip case, given its nifty features, is affordably priced at .50 for the iPad 1 and .50 for the iPad 2.
I extremely propose iTab Grip iPad grip case to other iPad users. While it may not seem very practical for some, professionals who use the iPad for business and citizen who are all the time on the go who love to multitask could greatly advantage from it.
Gadget Review: Blackberry Bold vs iPhone 3Gs. Blackberry or iPhone? That is the interrogate I hear every day from any man looking to procure one of the cool gadgets. Well my friends, this present will most honestly shed some light on both phones, and hopefully you will be able to draw some conclusions at the end.
Iphone
As you know from my previous post: gadget Review: iPhone 3Gs, I am quite the happy iPhone owner. I do not own a Blackberry Bold, but a lot of my friends are in rights of the competing explore In request for retrial (Rim) gadget. I have played around with it any times, and I believe I have established a fairly good "rapport" with the Blackberry.
The Blackberry Bold has a very sleek design, unlike its predecessors. I fancied the look of the gadget very much. The Qwerty keyboard was all the time easy to use, as the buttons are very well designed for data entry on this neat gadget. Now, one of the bigger features on the Blackberry Bold is the screen. The gadget features a half Vga resolution 480 x 320 pixel color display. The capability of the photograph is extremely crisp, and I would be very satisfied to watch the most recent lesson of Two and a Half Men. The email on the Bold is superb. I do not think there is any real competition for that singular aspect of the Blackberry, as it is the main feature that Rim strives to heighten on with every new gadget release. And of policy there is the Blackberry Messenger. Loved by many and desired by others. This Blackberry assistance is free, and it features on every Blackberry released. This cool digital gadget reduces your bill greatly on text messaging. Now of course, this is only ready to Blackberry phones, hence manufacture it such a unique feature for the Rim device.
Now for the present of the cons....yes there are all the time cons! The Blackberry Bold is fairly big in size. Its bulky size does not allow for seamless blending into your pocket. If Rim manages to reduce the size of Blackberry Bold to one of that the Pearl sports, I think the buyer base for the gadget would growth dramatically. The Blackberry Bold browser, while an improvement, is still ways away from a user amiable interface. Pilotage is done with the trackball that is placed in the middle of the gadget, and the constant scrolling to navigate through the pages can become fairly annoying and tiring. I hope Rim thinks of something for the hereafter Blackberry phones. The screen, while crisp is only a half size. But that is the trade off with most non-touch screen gadgets. Finally, the camera leaves desirable improvement. Blackberry Bold does in fact come with a flash, and the camera is a 3.2 megapixel camera, but the Sony Ericsson CyberShot dwarfs the Blackberry gadget in comparison, however we will leave the Sony Ericsson gadget for someone else review.
The comparison of the Blackberry Bold to the iPhone 3Gs is a fairly daunting task (unlike my previous comparison of the iPhone and the Nokia N-95), as in my understanding both gadgets are intended for dissimilar target markets and meant for slightly dissimilar purposes. However, let us attempt to assess and discrepancy the two gadgets.
The screen comparison is fairly simple: you get a bigger screen with the iPhone, but the capability is best on the Blackberry Bold. Now, do note that the screen on the iPhone is the glue that holds all together. While it is big, it is also almost like putting all your eggs in one basket - lest the screen crack, the gadget performance might suffer. Such is the double-edged sword nature of the touch screen phones!
If you prefer real tangible buttons for data entry such as on the Blackberry Bold, as opposed to digitized keyboards on the iPhone, the selection is fairly obvious; this one is honestly down to user preference. I personally happen to love the iPhone keyboard, but I do not have a problem with the Blackberry one either; it is naturally that I prefer a bigger screen, and the iPhone keyboard makes it a very effective gadget.
The camera. To be quite honest, this comparison of the two gadgets in the picture-taking aspect can be described as a extra Olympics race. Now, I have nothing against the handicapped people of our world, and apologies if you found it offensive, but to naturally put it, the two cameras of the iPhone and the Blackberry Bold are naturally not on par with what is out there. Blackberry trumps the iPhone by 1.2 megapixels and a flash, however it is not honestly something I would be particularly proud to show off to all my friends. Captivating on.
Email. honestly no competition. Blackberry phones were designed for email. iPhone does have a decent and simple email client, but it does not even come close to the Rim gadget.
Blackberry messenger is something I would love to have on my iPhone. I am a huge admirer of the iPhone text messaging system, but if I could also send texts for free, well let's just say that even Gollum from Lord of the Rings would overlook his costly for a feature like that!
Browser. Once again, no contest, but this one goes to the iPhone. Easy to use, big screen, fast Safari browser. Once you have used the iPhone browser, I would dare anyone to find a gadget that aces the Apple phone. Blackberry Bold is blown out of the water, country, planet and solar theory in this department.
Finally the size of the two gadgets is very comparable. Personally, I find the slim form factor of the iPhone extremely convenient, however it does make it more fragile. Don't forget it's in your back pocket, or you will end up having a nice spider-web construct on the screen of your costly gadget. The Blackberry Bold, as mentioned earlier is fairly bulky, but it does make it much sturdier than the iPhone. I give this to the iPhone, but as with most aforementioned comparisons, this one is once again user preference.
The verdict....well there naturally is no winner in this battle. Many of the comparisons of the two gadgets were finally down to user preference. You have to ask yourself: what am I going to use my phone for? If it is for email and organizational purposes, then I propose the Blackberry Bold. If it is for fun and browsing, I propose the iPhone. The selection is yours. Both gadgets are very capable of performing every task, but their construct and coming to these tasks is significantly different, and you are the one to make the call - Blackberry Bold or iPhone.
I hope you found this gadget present useful, and I welcome comments or discussions on the Blackberry Bold or the iPhone. Both gadgets are fabulous pieces of technology, however, as this present outlines, the extreme target audience is different.
